





Charlottesville Bike Camp is a junior development cycling camp that offers road and mountain bike summer camps. CBC gives junior riders the opportunity to learn racing and riding skills from America's top professional cyclists. Camps are held at the historic Miller School of Albemarle and daily rides include the best roads and trails in Albemarle County.
American Eagle Outfitters Foundation is a charitable foundation funded by American Eagle Outfitters. AE manager Jamie Clarkson, who is an avid cyclist and competitive cyclocross racer, is a leader in junior development cycling in Charlottesville as well as other youth outreach programs.
Virginia Off-Road Series has organized and united mountain bike racing in Virginia. Their efforts over the past few years have significantly grown the sport at every level in the state. VORS director, Woody Elliot, has been a big supporter of the Virginia High School Mountain Bike Series from its inception and even offered to organize a High School division in his series. While this was tempting, we decided that high school students should have their own series. On weekends, they can then continue to pursueracing in VORS races
2011 VAHS MTB participants enjoyed high-definition films of most races. These were filmed and produced by the talented photographer and film maker Dan Gibson. Since then, Gibson has started a custom photography and film company, Dan Gibson Photography. For the 2012 season, riders will continue to enjoy Gibson's fast-pace and energized films of most races. All videos will be available on the website and on Gibson's company site.
Blue Ridge School is an all boys, all boarding school grades 9-12 located 20 miles outside Charlottesville, Virginia. BRS specializes in teaching boys through innovative teaching methods, intelligent curriculum, and challenging programs – ones specifically tailored for adolescent boys. The school’s 751 acre campus offers numerous outdoor educational opportunities and a superb setting for the school’s mountain biking team – one of Virginia’s first high school teams.
